Job Overview:

The Manager of Point of Sale (POS) & OmniChannel Selling Technology is responsible for the development of technology to ensure its effective integration into the Omnichannel selling and relationship-building experience.

Serve as a stakeholder on all Bloomingdale's selling technology initiatives, regularly interacting across various parts of the business, including stores, CX/Digital Selling, bloomingdales.com, Macy's Systems and Technology and 3rd party vendors to create efficient and sales driving selling platforms.

Responsible for and/or stakeholder for all Bloomingdale's proprietary and 3rd party selling applications, including POS, Salesfloor, MyStore, and Appointment Scheduling

Serves as the primary liaison to the MST POS development team, advocating for Bloomingdale's enhancements

and bug fixes

In partnership with stores teams, owns logistics of in-store technology launches: communication, training requirements, training scheduling and coordination of training resources.

Essential Functions:
  • POS: Daily POS programming, Support, Enhancements stakeholder
  • Selling & Service Technology: MPOS, FSS, Big Ticket Tablets, Checkout Modernization
  • OmniChannel App Implementation: Salesfloor Stores, Appt Booking, AliPay/WeChat Pay, etc.
  • Incident Management Escalation: Flexible Work Hours which can include outside of M-F 9-6
  • New Stores / Renovations Project Coordination & Management

Qualifications and Competencies:

Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university

3-5 years related experience
  • Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
  • Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs

  • Requires periods of walking, standing, communicating, reaching, crouching and climbing ladders
  • Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions
