Jing Daily is looking for a smart, creative and strategic Social Media Manager to help grow the brand’s social footprint across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok. The ideal candidate will have experience in visual storytelling, an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally while managing various projects. They will also have deep knowledge and passion for social activations specific to Luxury, Culture, eCommerce, and Fashion from a global lens, but with a specific focus on China. In addition to this, an interest in digital trends followed by luxury brands doing business in Asia is vital.
Job responsibilities include:
- Write, schedule, and optimize daily social posts across multiple platforms
- Contribute to commerce strategy with thoughtful social activations and a creative approach to packaging
- Commission and edit content with an elevated aesthetic and clear storyboard where appropriate
- Maintain and communicate defined brand voice, visual aesthetic, and mission to internal and external contact
- Pitch social angles and social-extension ideas that align with editorial objectives
- Support Jing events via social distribution including collaboration on visuals, messaging, and calendar management
- Partner with Analytics lead to improve and refine reach across all social platforms
- Find and nurture relationships with creators focused on increasing reach and growing brand awareness
- Work closely with editorial, marketing, and business development team to ideate and execute on social-focused initiatives
