Job Overview: This senior-level digital copywriter creates and oversees editorial, advertising and ecommerce content for the Men's fashion and luxury Home families of business, including large-scale projects, lookbooks, emails, site pages, banner ads and product descriptions. Excellent conceptual, storytelling and managerial skills as well as strong collaboration skills to partner with art directors, developers and site merchandising/buying teams are essential skill sets. This individual can think big picture while maintaining a laser-focused eye on the details; communicates and elevates the brand voice through appropriate and playful copy which always prioritizes the customer experience.

Essential Functions:
  • Produce compelling marketing copy (from single banner ads to large-scale marketing campaigns) for the men's and home categories
  • Effectively manage the production workflow for assigned families of business
  • Ensure consistency and adherence to bloomingdales.com copy standards
  • Maintain high standards for writing and proofreading
  • Develop and manage team of mid-level and junior copywriters to help them grow their skills and professionalism


Qualifications and Competencies:

Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university

5+ years direct experience
  • Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
  • Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs
  • Background in men's fashion and/or luxury home; extensive working knowledge of current trends and language of high-end fashion world
