In the Zalando Direct Partner Readiness team, our mission is to enable our partners to get ready to onboard seamlessly and successfully on our Partner Program platform.

Given the high complexity, the technical and logistical needs, and the requirements our partners have to meet to proceed to the integration stage, we aim to steer and optimize our internal and partner-facing processes to ensure faster partner onboarding and scalability of our solutions.

We're looking for a self-driven and proactive Process Excellence Manager, passionate about analyzing and challenging existing processes, steering improvements, and driving the vision of our future Partner Readiness operational excellence.

You will be part of a close-knit team, closely working with an exciting and growing part of Zalando.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
  • Critically evaluate and challenge our existing operational processes, identify improvement areas and opportunities for increased automation;
  • Take ownership of the Partner Readiness operational excellence initiatives and projects aimed at decreasing the partners' time-to-market and at increasing our internal efficiency;
  • Proactively identify opportunities to solve new partner challenges throughout the Partner Readiness process;
  • Drive the solution-design of tools and new processes from idea to implementation;
  • Collaborate effectively with our main internal and external stakeholders (i.e. Partner Education, Sales, Partner Consulting, Integration, CRM team, Vendors)
  • Monitor the efficiency of both our existing and new processes, analyze the internal and partner performance trends, and support decision-making with spot-on analysis and deep dives to drive impact.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Master's degree in a Business, Supply Chain, Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of work experience in process management, process improvement/redesign, or a similar position requiring a high level of problem-solving skills combined with the ability to drive projects independently, ideally in e-commerce retail
  • Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, GoogleSuite, especially Excel/Google Sheets)
  • Experience and knowledge of Business Process Modelling tools (i.e. Signavio, Visio, ARIS)
  • Industry certifications on Six Sigma, Lean Management, and Agile methodologies would be beneficial
  • Excellent English communication skills in writing and speaking as well as the ability to work and build consensus among people from different departments and levels
  • Comfortable with numbers, you use data to identify root causes, understand problems, and build strong arguments to convince others
  • Strong sense of ownership that allows you to challenge the status quo, drive change and get things done
  • Ability to solve complex situations, identify and remove bottlenecks, connect with relevant stakeholders, deal with uncertainty and handle multiple projects at the same time
