Global Social Media Assistant

Position Overview 
 

An exciting opportunity within the global division at Jo Malone London, ideal for an enthusiastic individual to develop Social Media skills within a leading British fragrance and lifestyle house. 

The Global Social Media Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Social Media Team in managing Global Social Operations for Jo Malone London across all markets. You will play an integral role in seamlessly navigating the nuances of the everchanging social platforms with creativity and confidence along with being responsible for our cross-platform community. 


 

Key Responsibilities 
 

  • Responsible for the Global Social calendar schedule and publishing across Instagram, Stories, Reels, Facebook and Twitter and supporting on TikTok. 
  • Content ideation: identifying key trends, cultural moments and educational content for key platforms TikTok and Instagram 
  • Content briefing: Working with Social, Marketing, & Creative to brief and develop additional content where required 
  • Community growth: responsible for growing the community engagement, following monitoring and reach of all our social channels 
  • Strategy, Reporting & Analysis: Weekly and Monthly reporting on organic and paid results, utilizing reporting tools such as Sprinklr and Iconosquare providing optimization and driving forward the global social strategy. 
  • Support the team with daily community and crisis management.  
  • Support the team with paid social campaigns, ensuring you are rigorously tracking the performance of all content and enabling this data to be fed into future channel strategies. 
  • Support regional teams with guidance on how to deliver strong social media activity in their respective markets and that their strategy is aligned and effective. 
     

 

 

Key Skills & Experience 
 

  • Previous experience in the social media landscape, preferably within the luxury industry 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritization, planning, and task delegation 
  • Well organised and reactive with strong attention to detail 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite 
  • Previous experience with the tool Sprinklr is advantageous but not essential 
  • Numerate and able to understand, interpret and use varied sources of data and statistics for reporting purposes. 
  • Fluency of Social Media Tools: Sprinklr in scheduling, asset uploads and board management and Olapic Management. 

 

Education: Undergraduate degree preferable, however candidates with strong evidence of experience, performance & knowledge will be considered.
