As the WD Implementation Lead for Talent & Performance, you will play a key role in the cultural development of Europe’s leading online fashion platform. Your work will be crucial in evolving our company-wide Talent Practices, with a particular focus on our approach to feedback, performance and growth as an integrated experience for our Zalandos.

  • You are an expert in the areas of Talent and Performance Management, and are leading the Workday implementation pertaining to Zalando’s Talent Practices
  • You steer the work of your team and provide institutional knowledge as well as insights into Zalando systems, templates, and processes during the design workshops
  • You provide input to future-state design and you facilitate the setup of data collection and validation for business functions
  • You ensure deep improvements to the current practice and strive for simplification and business relevance
  • You work closely with other P&O product domains (e.g. Compensation & Benefits, Diversity & Inclusion, Learning & Development, Leadership, People Operations, People Tech) to ensure all processes are tightly integrated
  • Together with your team, you validate and test the data as well as the target design during various stages (iterations) to ensure that requirements are captured
  • You are aware of the design decisions being made in other projects such as ServiceNow in order to reduce risk of changing design
  • You coordinate Subject Matter Experts and other resources to get decisions made and validate the design
  • You review design documents, functional specifications, and test results to provide sign off
  • You work with the P&O Services and Solutions Lead to manage work plans, milestones, staffing requirements (and budget)
  • You report important issues, status, and actions required, escalating issues when required
  • You co-coordinate iteration meetings and complete assigned tasks for each iteration
  • You act as a change agent for the project with influence on how the project is perceived in the organization

  • You have 8+ years of experience in Workday’s Human Capital software implementation, with a particular focus on talent and performance management
  • You gained your experience preferably in a fast-growing digital company, or as a management consultant (m/f/d) at one of the top-tier consultancies
  • Track record of successfully guiding and steering teams, putting collaboration at the core of how our teams work, proven examples of having developed high performing teams
  • Experience in setting up talent/performance development strategies and their implementation in a cloud-based HR IT suite
  • Able to work with a fair degree of autonomy across multiple responsibilities and demonstrate tremendous initiative and sense of personal accountability, while remaining a team player
  • The ability to propel for results, setting, prioritizing and achieving multiple and sometimes competing goals and timetables
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to clearly articulate complex concepts, ideas, and processes with the proven presence especially with senior stakeholders
  • Business fluent in English, knowledge of German is advantageous but not mandatory
