Our team is part of the central Indirect Procurement and we are responsible for procurement of IT (Hardware, Software, IT Services) as well as for Software Asset Management of the entire Zalando Group.
As a working student, you will work part-time on exciting and varying tasks in support of our team. In the field of IT Procurement and Software Asset Management, you will work closely with IT Sourcing Managers and Software Asset Managers as well as Technology teams throughout the Zalando Group. You will support creating transparency for enabling decisions on best external IT Solutions and on optimizing Zalando's license demand.
We plan to fill this position asap for 6 months.

WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
- Support an experienced and professional team responsible for procuring IT Software, Hardware and IT Services for the Zalando Group in tender processes, RFx creation, assessing proposals and offers from vendors, and in coordinating contract renewals
- Assist in performing regular license compliance reviews to ensure a compliant and efficient usage of any 3rd party software
- Analyze contracts and license agreements to ensure a high quality of decision making
- Monitor data for IT Procurement and Software Asset Management KPIs and reporting
- Support sourcing managers in contract management and reporting
- Enrolled in Business, Economics or IT-related studies
- Excellent communication skills enable you to successfully manage external and internal stakeholders in a solution oriented way
- You have good analytical skills and you might already have knowledge of software licensing or IT procurement
- You are proficient in data analysis using Google sheets and/or Microsoft Excel
- You work in a structured and independent manner and are willing to work in an intense, growing environment
- You are keen to take over new responsibilities and are interested in new technology
- You are a highly motivated team player and are flexible when it comes to new and changing tasks
