We're looking for someone to join our Product Function within the Product Development team, to help define, drive and implement best practice solutions within the Global Product team and across the wider business.   • Project lead the testing and implementation of PLM across all Product functions. This will require engaging with senior stakeholders and securing trusted advisor status within the Product function. Collaboration with Tech team to manage the
    configuration demands, and track against budget. Identify future opportunities with PLM.
  • Gaining alignment with cross-functional teams, to drive and deliver new processes to enable the growth of the brand.
  • Identifying and establishing creative and innovative ways to improve and reduce the product creation process by engaging with key stakeholders, advising on and implementing improvements.
    Management and Support:
  • Advising the Executive Sponsor and PLM steering committee on implementation status and resolving related challenges.
  • Consulting with key stakeholders to define and reach project specific goals and objectives as outlined in Company strategy which have a direct impact on the efficiency and performance of the Product function.
  • Providing expert input across all functions within the Product Team designing and delivering high impact solutions to meet the needs of the function.

  • Establishing effective channels of communication with our external business partners to ensure service levels are delivered in accordance with agreed arrangements.
  • Building strong relationships with colleagues across the business, at all levels.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders both within Product and cross-functional teams on strategic projects.
  • Building and maintaining good levels of communication with RO's and supply base.
  • Collaborating with the Head of Innovation, to ensure clear channels of communication and alignment between the innovation and in-line strategies.

  • Using analytics to assess the performance of the PLM system. Harness data collected to evaluate system performance and delivery against the defined roadmap.
  • Reviewing data on the efficiency of the product creation calendar to assess the need for process improvements and changes to current working practices.

    Knowledge and Opportunity:
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the apparel industry across all Product functions: Development, Design, Materials, Sourcing, Product Marketing.
  • Strong Sportswear brand experience.
  • Confidently and efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Identify projects, outside of Company's strategic plan - that can help drive process improvement and efficiencies within the Product function.
  • Ability to process map across different functions within the Product team, and assess impact/consequence of suggested changes and forecast potential future
    changes when required.
  • Ability to implement, and drive calendar management across the Product function.


  • Extensive experience working in Product function.
  • Has been Superuser/SME/Superuser for implementation of PLM system.
  • Experience working within global Activewear/Sportswear apparel brands.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and conceptually.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to thrive, with minimum level of supervision, in a risk-taking, fast paced environment.
  • Agile to change and pragmatic, you'll be a collaborative team player and be comfortable working in a high pressure, fast paced environment where identifying needs, providing solutions and adding value is a prerequisite.
  • Commercial Awareness and a creative problem solver with the ability to think laterally and understand the cost and value drivers within a competitive business environment.

When normal office working resumes, our expectation would require candidates to attend at least 3 days a week in GSHQ, Solihull, UK.
