JOB PURPOSE

Supply Chain Strategy & Excellence is a dedicated team in Burberry Supply Chain working to deliver initiatives that support Burberry Supply Chain strategies. The projects we deliver drive significant change to people, processes and systems throughout Burberry. We are taking a Business Led approach to change, focused on driving value in line with our company objectives.

The Coordinator, SC Strategy & Excellence - Downstream will be working across the entire project portfolio for SC Downstream supporting the team with subject matter knowledge, information gathering, data analytics and design thinking.

The Coordinator will play a key role in process design, aligning cross-functionally with Business Operational owners and IT.

This role offers a unique opportunity for the right individual to be part of shaping the future of Burberry; taking a strategic focus, developing a wide cross section of project skills, and gaining cross organisation visibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Coordinator will support the Director, SC Strategy & Excellence - Downstream for the entire project portfolio.

Responsibilities:
• Process Analysis: Working with business users to understand their processes in detail considering activities performed on system and off system. Understand business KPI's and how they are calculated.
• System Expertise: Gain understanding of Burberry's core ERP systems to become an SME and a key contact in the business for our IT partners.
• Design New Ways of Working: Contribute to As-Is and To-Be Process mapping and Requirements capture. Participate in the design of strategic new ways of working for the sub-function (including processes, structures, roles and responsibilities).
• Reporting: Understand reporting requirements to manage new processes
• Communicate: Communicate in 'business friendly language' with sub-functions to ensure the right awareness and understanding of change initiatives and impacts at the right time.
• Training: Develop and deliver Training to build capability on new ways of working (behaviours, processes, systems) for the sub-function.
• Testing: Create user testing scenarios and execute user testing ensuring that new ways of working are fit for business purpose for the sub-function.
• Readiness & Support: Measure business readiness and implement actions to drive change. Support the sub-function in transitioning to new ways of working through hypercare project phase.
• Travel: Willingness to travel as and when required by the business, including global travel. #L1-CA1

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Educated to Degree level
  • Experience performing in a Supply Chain/IT role
  • Hands-on experience of business processes or system build
  • Proven experience in facilitating meetings
  • Proven experience working in a time pressured environment
  • Desirable: Process Mapping
  • Desirable: past ERP / transformation / technology project experience
