POSITIONSUMMARY:

This position is responsible for negotiatinga key category of spend for Chico's FAS relating to procurement for sharedservices across the organization. Thisrole monitors contracts, liabilities, and administers our purchase card andprocure to pay system.

FUNCTIONALRESPONSIBILITIES:

·Preparespurchase orders and places orders for the purchase of goods and services.

·Sourcesproducts, negotiates costs, new product sources, and evaluates total cost ofownership for key categories.

·Responsibleto drive cost savings and improved efficiencies, quality, and specificationsthrough regular supplier / internal reviews.

·Evaluatesmarket / economic conditions through research and analysis of impact on keycategory.

·Servesas liaison between Chico's FAS client and suppliers as directed by business andor finance team.

·Administersthe Chico's FAS purchase card program and profiles.

·Analyzesprocurement needs,, asses vendor bids, reviews inventory levels and worksclosely to support various teams across the organization..

·Maintainsindustry knowledge regarding advancement in the area of Procurement.

·Researchesglobal and domestic suppliers for new technology and alternatives in theindustry.

·Monitorsand report to management vendor performance as it relates to quality and ontime delivery.

·Developsstrategic sourcing approach to multiple lines of business and shared services.

·LeadsRFP process to present supplier selection to senior management.

·Interpretsand evaluate agreement provisions and provides input for direction.

·Managesof all technical related projects with internal and external partners.

·Maintainsannual schedule of contract renewals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in business related, science, technical discipline, engineering, or math
  • 3+ Years' experience in Procurement or related field
  • Experienced with data collection, reporting, and detailed financial data with a high degree of accuracy
  • ERP system experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong customer service skills; team oriented
  • Ability to multi-task gracefully and adapt to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment
  • Consistently project and maintain professional appearance and behavior
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal and external customers in a pleasant, courteous, and efficient manner.
