As a Head of Commercial Planning & Business Development, you will play a key role in shaping the business priorities of the Sales & Service (S&S) unit. This is a high exposure role working with senior management of the company as main stakeholders. You will be responsible for defining, shaping and owning the strategic planning process forS&S, including the strategic long term plan, marketing plan, budget plan cycles, and the operation plan amongst others. The correct definition, steering, and execution of these elements will mark the success of the department in achieving its objectives and its business case. S&S is on a quick growth path and you will help to provide structure and strategic guidance to ensure the implementation of incremental growth initiatives while ensuring a continuous improvement in our business as usual.

You will be working with your team in defining and executing B2B Partner communication and marketing tactics that will support key stakeholders across S&S and the platform ecosystem achieve their goals and that should build into the broader marketing and communications partner strategies.
  • Own the strategic planning for Sales & Services;
  • Define the B2B marketing & Partner Communication strategy for our unit with a clear bias for growth and acquisition and in alignment with the corporate goals;
  • Increase the awareness of our B2B Platform proposition in the industry across Europe while building a strong thought leadership;
  • Ensure Sales & Services interests are represented in the different managerial layers of the organization, to guarantee proper support and resourcing;
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure effective planning and implementation of cross-departmental initiatives;
  • Build and maintain the planning processes with effective governance, steering mechanisms and proactive communication during the year;
  • Be the main contact for all planning topics within S&S;
  • Ensure your team is properly allocated in high-impact initiatives with clear roles and responsibilities;
  • Closely partner with technology teams to drive automation and scalability across the organization;
  • Scale commercial operations by identifying business opportunities, supporting the creation of commercial incentives for partners, and implementation.
  • >8 years of work experience in business development, management consulting, or other analytical or entrepreneurial positions with a proven track record;
  • Strong leadership skills backed with hands-on mentality;
  • Marketing and/or Communication experience ideally at B2B level as part of a leader organization or cutting edge agency;
  • Confidence in building business cases, data-oriented with a strong commercial understanding;
  • Good understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem and familiarity with B2B business;
  • Experience in writing and compiling structured strategy papers that provide clear guidance and allow fast decision-making processes;
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong perseverance - you take ownership, work in a structured & independent manner, and do not lose sight of your goals within complex topics;
  • Great team player - you bring a positive mindset & like working with different stakeholders, building & maintaining good relationships;
  • Decision-taking based on facts and including the customer- /partner-centric perspective;
  • Taking initiative, having good judgment, understanding deadlines. You can work on multiple tasks through to completion even when under pressure;
  • Strong communication skills in English;
  • Ability to efficiently deal with various stakeholders and senior management.
