JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for providing Product Costing information and insight into cost drivers. Partnering with key internal stakeholders to understand product risk assessment & cost drivers. Provide accurate and timely Commercial Finance support to key stakeholders, supporting the Senior Finance Manager/Supply Operations with analysis on various projects including Budget, Forecast, Margin analysis and Variances reporting. Accurate and timely month-end and periodic reporting. Ensures Budgeting, Forecast and other finance evaluations are finalised on time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyse business performance to target and implement strong control process
  • Analyse the composition of product costs - materials, labour, overhead and profit
  • Provide product costing reports for seasonal forecasts, budget and forecast.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate Product Cost's together with margin analysis
  • Develop insightful reporting and analysis for review with Senior Finance Manager
  • Budget and Forecast of the complete Balance Sheet and P&L
  • Ensure that management accounting results are aligned with current forecasts and budgets
  • Preparation of analysis and monthly reporting pack to support monthly accounts
  • Oversee the closure of the month-end accounts
  • Prepare journals & complete reconciliations where necessary
  • Partnering with key stakeholders on BAU projects and supporting Business case review
  • Provide a range of analysis activities to enable budget holders to manage and optimise their expenditure
  • Stock Reporting and Standard Costing reviews
  • Report financial performance, providing insights to the Senior Finance Manager - Supply Chain Operations, Group.
  • Ensure compliance with group policies & procedures
  • Ad hoc analysis to support senior management


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Master Degree in Economics or Management Engineering
  • 3-7 years of experience in similar role
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a must
  • Fluent English Essential
  • Strong finance system skills ideally with good knowledge of SAP/BPC/STEALTH ERP systems
