Galvan London is searching for an enthusiastic, self-motivated studio intern to join the New York team. The Ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and time management skills, strong attention to detail, be extremely efficient and able to prioritize tasks. Strong communication and written skills are a necessity, as well as adaptability, an interest in luxury fashion, and a positive attitude.

 

Main responsibilities: 


 

  • Coordinate US-based consignment program with Galvan clientele

     

    Assist with Shopify, POS systems, and dropshipper order management

     

    Learn inventory management system by managing inventory across e-commerce and retail platforms and participating in stock takes 

     

    Create various projects for Wholesale team including but not limited to training packs, order entry, online retailer account price checks, and organizing assets into PowerPoint

     

    Merchandise current collection in showroom and gain sales insight on Ready-to-wear and Bridal collections by supporting private client appointments and clienteling activities

     

    Provide administrative support throughout the studio including support to global Private Client and Wholesale departments

     

Qualifications:

 

  • A team player with strong written and verbal communication skills

     

    Detail-oriented & highly organized

     

    Passionate about the luxury fashion industry with a ready-to-learn attitude

     

    Must be able to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

     

    Proficient in Excel and Google Drive

     

    Experience with Shopify is a plus

     

    Available at least 3 days a week for the Spring 2022 semester

     

    School credit required

     

    Must be able to commute to NYC studio
