Zalando Direct is Zalando's B2B marketplace, enabling brands to sell directly to our customers. We are a growing business, and Partner Care & zPU are central to the scaling of our operations whilst providing services of high excellence. Partner Care is a B2B customer service function, and zPU is a knowledge platform designed to make working with Zalando Direct as self-service as possible.

As a Business Analyst within Partner Care & zPU, you will put data at the core of our decisions and processes, support us with presenting and visualising data, and run deep-dive analysis. You will sit within the Process & Applications (P&A) team, supporting PACA and zPU, as part of P&A's mission to improve operational efficiency, and enable data insights to improve the partner experience and continually optimise our services.

In this role, you will be responsible for our data analysis, insights and reporting. You will work closely with the PACA, and zPU teams, as well as other teams within Zalando Direct Operations with dependencies on those two teams.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
  • Build and continuously improve a variety of data analysis that add value to our operations.
  • Define the KPIs and models that enable us to better analyse and understand operational processes, patterns, and trends.
  • Communicate clearly and build compelling data stories to support our management and functional teams in taking data-based decisions and actions.
  • Collate and manipulate data from a variety of sources, using different tools, from Excel to Microstrategy to derive and present meaningful insights.
  • Develop and in-depth understanding of PACA & zPU and design and own the Business Analysis remit for our department, connecting with other (Analytics) teams as needed to connect us with ZD's wider data strategy
  • Design and drive research and small-scale projects to test and validate PACA & zPUs hypotheses and proposed improvements
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • You balance technical acumen with business understanding and excel in collaborating with commercial stakeholders to drive insightful, robust analyses.
  • You couple your passion for data with pragmatism to drive actions and impact.
  • You have a proven track record of 3+ years in a similar role, 5+ professional experience prefered
  • You have a degree in a numerical or analytical discipline- e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science
  • You are proficient in at least one of SQL, advanced Excel, Python.
  • You can visualize your data insights with tools like Tableau, Microstrategy, or Google Datastudio.
  • You have some experience with Google Analytics; Salesforce reporting is desirable
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a curious and self-starter mindset. Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • You have the drive to be our go to person for all things data and the passion to help change what we look at and how we do so in the future.
