JOB PURPOSE

You will be reporting to the IT Finance Analyst

The role is primarily responsible for delivering timely, accurate, financial analysis and reconciliations on key vendors within the IT Network & Infrastructure space. This will involve the review of commercial terms in key contracts, tracking invoices and billing reports against planned spend, and supporting the team with Budget review and development. Thorough understanding of Billing, Purchase Orders, Good Receipt, Credit Note, Journals and accruals is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate and present financial analysis of public cloud computing spend.
  • Examine spend trends, opportunities for savings, and advise with specific recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyse projections for cost of tools, maintenance, depreciation/amortisation, the impairment of assets, and labour efficiencies.
  • Manage reconciliations to deliver a consistently predictable and repeatable process.
  • Monitor the day to day processes including alignment with the data, operations and budgets.
  • Analyse spend and identify cost optimisation.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of keys tasks.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key vendors.
  • Support internal and external audits.


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • FinOps experience.
  • Financial analysis experience.
  • Purchase order management experience.
  • Account reconciliation experience.
  • Good numerical understanding, high excel skills and detail oriented.
  • Knowledge of Power BI desirable not essential.
  • Knowledge and experience of using SAP and ARIBA.
  • Global Stakeholder management experience.
  • Creative problem solving as well as proactivity and willingness to develop with the business.
  • Curiosity, willingness to leave one's comfort zone to develop their skillset.
