Created in 2012 by Pierre Mahéo, OFFICINE GENERALE is a French brand that revisits a modern masculine and feminine wardrobe by offering timeless high-end but accessible pieces.

Every detail, every pocket, every stitch has been thought out to ensure the item lasts longer and improves the comfort of its wearer. 

The brand has 6 boutiques in Paris, 2 corners at the Bon Marche, 1 store in London and one soon to open in New York. The brand is also sold through a high -end and selective multi-brand network.

To support its strong development, OFFICIE GENERALE is looking for motivated SALES ASSOCIATES for the New York flagship store. 

Responsibilities: (under the Store manager supervision)

  • Facilitate the brand’s high standards of client experience, communicating the brand’s aesthetic.
  • Achieve and exceed sales and productivity goals agreed upon with your store manager
  • Follow company’s KPI’s strategies to ensure performance standards are met.
  • Proficiency with sales management software and CRM.
  • Ability to think creatively in business and seek sales opportunities
  • Transmission of the brand's values and image by promoting its products, quality, and attention to detail.
  • Follow all front and back of house procedures in accordance with company Policy and Procedures.
  • Excellent proven retail operational skills & standards. Keen eye for attention to detail.
  • Assist in the implementation of merchandising recommendations. Ensure that the store is always merchandised to the Brand’s desired standard.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ensures all sales related policies and procedures are maintained.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and detailed client book.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of proven experience in retail.
  • Be customer service and sales oriented.
  • Highly self-motivated & enthusiastic.
  • Be fashion savvy.
  • Computer skills to operate point of sale system.
  • Be a team player.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends to meet the needs of the business.
  • Additional language is a plus.
