THE ROLE

Reporting to the Platform Operations Manager, you will lead Operations interdisciplinary projects with your partners from multiple teams and client-facing projects with clients. This role may require frequent interaction with international clients remotely and minimum travel (subjected to Regulatory COVID Restrictions and Farfetch Internal Policies).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • You will contribute to the success of the projects by being able to use your experience in project management, working with the team and solving complex tasks in a fast-moving environment;
    • Provide autonomously a clear timeline and progress of the project, making clear all deliveries, dependencies and milestones, and responsibilities, while promoting communication, anticipating roadblocks and escalating to management when needed;
    • You will connect and work with other FF Operations teams (Fraud, Payments, Delivery, Customer Service, Partner Service, Fulfilment and Platform Success) and other departments, namely Commercial, Production, Product, Technology and Integrations, to excel delivery (on time w/ quality).
    • Document project scopes, and ensure technical feasibility with Operations teams;
    • Present and clarify all platform capabilities regarding Shipping, Fraud, Payments, Order Fulfilment, Retail, Customer Service, Ops Reporting and Operational Support to the clients taking into consideration the workstreams dependencies, services availability and platform gaps;
    • Support the clients in the definition of the services they will offer on their website/app (shipping options, payment methods, CS coverage and guidelines, ...) and get it signed-off to implement, ensuring the success of the e-commerce or omnichannel project;
    • Prepare and maintain updated all project documentation and manage change requests;
    • Execute or request the main Operations configurations, assuring its delivery through testing;
    • Work with Platform Success Managers to prepare and facilitate the handover of the project to support phase (post-launch) or on an ongoing basis for projects of live clients.
    • Assure that the project benefits agreed in the early stages will be successfully delivered.


WHO YOU ARE

    • Fluent in English (mandatory)
    • Degree in Management, Economics or Engineering;
    • Expert in Project Management (mandatory), with client-facing experience, i.e.:
    • 3+ years experience with complex projects;
    • Experienced in managing several partners, with the capability to influence them at multiple levels in the organization;
    • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies;
    • Communicate, in a clear and well-structured way, with the team, the stakeholders and the steering committees, along the project execution;
    • Project Management certification is considered a bonus;
    • Program and Portfolio management experience are considered a bonus;
    • Business-oriented with experience in operations, retail or omnichannel position in E-Commerce companies;
    • Comfortable leading several teams across diverse and complex workstreams;
    • International and receptive attitude, being ready to work in a multicultural and inclusive environment;
    • Knowledgeable of Excel (can perform complex functions) and PowerPoint basic functionalities;
    • Team player and fun to work with!
