Job Overview:

The Visual Graphic Designer is primarily responsible for developing engaging in-store collateral for marketing promotions and special events. Cross-functionally managing the process of creating assets for print production, from vendor quotes to communicating deliverables to all stores.

Essential Functions:
  • Create and deliver in-store graphics for promotional events; oversee and review all creative work, ensuring planned aesthetic and high standards
  • Manage vendor relationships for print production of promotional signage, including quotes, purchase orders and tracking
  • Maximize overall presentation of event signing related to visual campaigns and trend focus in stores
  • Maintain an integral partnership with marketing regarding the promotional calendar, understanding the promotional cadence and legal requirements
  • Project manage promotional events and participate in event planning meetings, ensuring all graphics are created and delivered in-store on time
  • Create guidelines of all weekly signage promotions, communicating appropriate to all stakeholders
  • Manage operation (production & delivery) of weekly Sign Box
  • Assist in design and development of visual concepts for special projects, in department merchandising concepts and seasonal campaigns.
  • Research and stay on trend with the latest cutting-edge ideas and design, in fashion, materials, typography, illustrators and culture


Qualifications and Competencies:

Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university

3-5 years direct experience
  • Computer Program Skills: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat experience required
  • Print Production knowledge: Strong understanding of creating artwork for print production, different substrates and vendor management, in relation to typography, color palettes, substrates and visual merchandising.
  • Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs
  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional standing
  • Occasionally requires walking, bending, reaching, hearing and talking
  • Continuous use of computers and other office equipment
  • Frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs.
