HR Advisor
HUGO BOSS UK Ltd. | London | United Kingdom | Full-time

As HR Advisor you will play an integral role in driving the HR agenda at Hugo Boss. Supporting both the retail and head office function, you'll build strong relationships with managers and staff at all levels to provide pragmatic and business focused solutions and recommendations. You will drive best practice and ensure compliance with all company employment procedures, policies and employment legisliation.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and determined, and have the ability to work as a self-motivated individual as well as part of a team. Strong organisational skills, exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will be professional in manner with excellent communication skills in order to gain credibility and offer an excellent HR Service.

What you can expect:
  • Developing effective working relationships with Head Office, Retail Managers & Area Managers.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of employment legislation to be able to advise managers and update policies and procedures where necessary
  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, helping resolve work related problems using due diligence
  • Resolve employee relations issues, and support and advise managers on HR related issues & policies
  • Note taking in any employee relation matters including investigations, disciplinary and grievance hearings and performance management meetings as necessary
  • Coaching and counselling managers on performance issues and conflict resolution
  • Maintaining the HR log of all employee relation cases and sharing on a weekly basis to the HR team
  • Management of the Probation process and assisting managers accordingly, as well as sending out relevant documentation to employees
  • Developing tools and templates in order to support the HR function and all areas of the business
  • Complete employee relations correspondence all to a high level of accuracy.
  • Conduct exit interviews and track the feedback with recommendations to the HR BP
  • Driving the induction of new managers into the business, providing relevant training to support and guide them in their role.
  • Tracking and logging all Maternity and Paternity cases and working closely with the Payroll team to provide accurate and timely data.
  • Drive the operational side of the business for excellence with new ideas and suggestions
  • Supporting HR BP/ HR Manager where required with general HR administration and processes
  • Work on new HR projects with HR team
  • Support HR BP with talent management, succession planning and career meetings
  • Travel around UK & Ireland to conduct store visits when necessary and support new store openings
  • Any other ad hoc duties

Your profile:
  • Proven track record in handling numerous ER cases end to end
  • Previous HR Advisor experience
  • Up to date knowledge of Employment Legislation
  • Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Previous retail experience
  • Previous experience of SAP HR
