The Team

Merchandising Operations is responsible for the style setup across systems (style-master data) and sample inbound. This team collaborates closely with the divisional merchandising teams, product development, central supply teams, sample warehouse and process development teams.

The Position

The Product Data Coordinator reports directly to the Merchandising Operations Manager and is responsible for ensuring on time product data availability for sell-in and to provide ad hoc reporting and analysis for various stakeholders.

The person will work with PLM, SAP and other tools within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System setup from PLM to SAP to the sales order entry tool WeConnect.
  • Ensuring a timely availability of interfaced Product Data across SAP/PIM and WeConnect, by continuously monitoring and aligning product data.
  • Set-up, tracking and maintenance of reporting.
  • Managing key milestones to ensure as much product data is aligned as needed.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Merchandising and Product Development to address erroneous Product Data set-up, be aware of exceptions and requirements for selling tool set-up.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Assets teams and DST to ensure Product Data is visible in selling tools.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with cross divisional teams and Central teams to achieve Product Data alignment across systems and to provide various Product Data related information.
  • Escalating misaligned, incorrect or contradicting process flows or inefficiencies in systems and tools.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency of operational activities and tools in Product Data visibility process.
  • Proactively sharing operational knowledge and best practices to participate in team effort to raise working efficiency.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor degree with 1-2 years of related work experience or a post-secondary degree with minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience in this field.
  • Fluent in English - additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel (V-look up, index matching, pivot table, macros etc).
  • Working experience with Centric PLM and SAP FMS are a plus.
  • Interest in systems and processes, preferably with experience in Operations.
  • Analytical and result oriented mind-set.
  • High level of accuracy, problem-solving skills and attention to details.
  • Highly organized with good priority setting skills.
  • Able to work in a hectic environment and under pressure with deadlines (time management).
  • High productivity is demanded.
  • Structured and pro-active working approach.
  • Flexible - no 9 to 6 mentality - in peak periods overtime will be asked.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • Team player with a hands on mentality and who can work independently.
