The Position

The Senior Talent Development Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining our offering for the development of core skills for our associates across Europe (excl. retail). The role is also responsible for driving our digital learning vision and learning platform engagement & experience, ensuring our tools and technologies are up to date and fit for purpose. This role will work closely together with the Senior Manager Talent Development and partners with HR Directors, HR Business Partners and People Managers to understand development needs and deliver impactful development solutions, initiatives and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translates insights from People Plans (as part of Strategic Workforce Planning) into a roadmap for continues refreshment and enhancement of our development offering for core/essential skills for associates in our Amsterdam HQ and our offices in Europe.
  • Is the first point of contact for HR Business Partners, Talent Partners and associates for core development related queries, programs and tools.
  • Works closely with HR colleagues & business leads to understand on-going development needs, ensuring that current learning activities are relevant, meet quality requirements and support key business priorities.
  • Works with external vendors and partners to purchase or build development programs and tools for the development of identified core/essential associate skills.
  • Designs and develops digital / blended learning journeys that suit our learning vision and meet our Global/European quality standards and best practices. Manages the budget for core skill development, ensuring investment in the right topics and programs based on business needs.
  • Ensures accurate scheduling of (virtually) facilitator led programs and workshops, enabling associates to sign up through our Learning Management System, in collaboration with the Talent Coordinator.
  • Partners with external vendors, handles agreements and manages budget for development activities including (internal/external) venues and equipment. Implements effective metrics and evaluation processes across PVH University to best assess quality and return on investment of our development initiatives. Partners extensively with our Talent Partners across Europe to understand local development needs, ensures alignment where needed and provides up to date information about the offering on an ongoing basis.
  • Contributes to the successful embedding of our soon to be launched Leadership Behaviors in all of our Team Development offering, ensuring our offering supports the development of these critical business behaviors. Maintains information related to our core development offering and programs on our PVH University promotional communication tools, e.g. Thread page, CampusApp, Course Brochure.
  • Facilitates or arranges delivery for other training requests as necessary, creating a learning atmosphere that appeals to a variety of learning styles and needs and drives interaction to enable peer learning. Designs and prepares learning aids and facilitator/participant materials. Ability to modify materials ad hoc to address audience needs.
  • Contributes to the overall development of the Talent Management & Development function, quality, marketing & PR to drive our learner experience and engagement.
  • Develops and drives our digital learning strategy, ensuring we have the right tools, technologies and processes in place for the development of blended learning journeys.
  • Manages the European Workday Learning (WDL) learner experience and engagement, in line with our European learning vision and in collaboration with the Global WDL team. Drives platform improvements within budget while maximizing impact.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert to EU Talent partners on driving platform engagement within the technical possibilities that Workday Learning has to offer (Campaigns, etc).
  • Educates and advises PVH U AMS team & EU Talent Partners (SMEs) on WDL functionalities. Introduces learning content standards and governance, enabling SMEs to develop digital learning content/solutions within the possibilities of our learning platform and quality standards.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Business degree ideally in Psychology; Management; Human Resources; Educational Sciences
  • Previous work experience is minimum of 6 years, of which minimum of 3 years in Talent Development or Talent Management
  • Has worked previously in an international matrix
  • Highly detail-oriented, analytic, energetic and self-motivated individual • Strong project management skills, including project planning and stakeholder management • Comfortable working in an environment in which businesses processes, tools, deadlines etc. are continually evolving
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Resourceful in overcoming roadblocks that hinder processes Collaborative and able to work effectively with others inside and outside of own tea
