PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT

OVERVIEW:

Ten Thousand is seeking an outstanding Product Development Assistant to help support our Product team. Working closely with Design, Merchandising, and Product Development, you will contribute to the execution of products at Ten Thousand. If you have a passion for premium, functional products, this is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing company within the activewear space.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in reviewing/approving incoming strike-offs, dips, and all design related submits

   

  Organize and maintain a neat and easily accessible materials and sample library 

   

  Assist in the tracking, receiving and sending of design & development-related packages

   

  Manage care label, tear label and hang tag information and updates

   

  Assist in creation of seasonal colored BOMs for existing styles

   

  Create and manage seasonal line sheets

   

  Attend all fittings and partner with PD/Technical team on all tech pack and BOM updates

   

  Assist in creating tech packs

   

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development process

   

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a fashion-related field (design, merchandising, product development) is a plus

   

  Experience: 1-2 years

   

  Proficiency in Illustrator is a significant plus

   

  PLM experience a plus

   

  Self-motivated and ability to thrive in fast paced environment 

   

  Excellent organization skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously

   

  Strong attention to detail

   

  Ability to work well with multiple team members with a positive team player attitude

   

  Strong communication and follow-up skills

   

  Passion for premium, functional product and the desire to forge a path as a market leader in new product concepts
