About THE ROLE

PVH Central Planning & Buying is responsible for the selection, range building and product strategy for the Region North. In a constantly changing retail environment, we look to build the best assortment for each of our retail, wholesale and concession partners based upon customer profile, sales targets and regional retail landscape.

Working closely with all key stakeholders (merchandising, wholesale, retail operations, visual merchandising and store teams) collaboration, strong communication and a passion for opportunity and success are the foundations for this team!

Reporting into the Senior Planner the Assistant Planner plays a key role in supporting the team to deliver the range strategy for a number of divisions for one of our brands across the whole Region.

Focusing on our NOS ranges they will work closely with the wider Buying and Planning team to ensure a cohesive strategy across multiple sales channels and countries.

They will be pivotal in creating and interpreting analysis to back-up the range plan strategy and will work with Retail and Wholesale partners to optimise cross channel trading.

Responsibilities include:
  • Contribute to departmental Merchandising planning strategy, with the customer and brand in mind.
  • To prepare analysis packs as necessary and pull together strategy recommendations under the guidance of the Senior Planner.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders across both Region North and Amsterdam head office teams.
  • Support in the running and analysis of weekly/monthly and seasonal trade reports.
  • Manages monthly forecast submission ensuring key deadlines are hit for both retail and wholesale central functions.
  • Own line card forecasts across channels and region, incorporating Retailer feedback & strategic changes to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Help optimise range performance through micro-range analysis and reporting, working with the trading teams.
  • Build relationships with Key Account managers and Retailer counterparts to drive trade and improve future forecasting.
  • Own Regional master product data & accurate management of NOS line ranging.
  • End to end product lifecycle management of NOS styles.
  • Works with Wholesale teams to support in season trading across a number of partners.
  • Work within the core systems SAP BW/ HANA, Excel, A3 planning system.
  • Supports selling teams function with production of Retail and Wholesale support assets.
  • Works very closely with Retail teams to ensure range alignment and productivity growth.
  • Implementing new systems and processes to continually improve Planning best practice.

About YOU
  • You'll have previous experience at Assistant Merchandiser / Planner level (or equivalent) within a fashion/retail business.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • You'll have excellent planning and analytical skills.
  • You'll have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with ease.
  • You'll be a commercially astute and confident decision maker, communicating with impact across all levels.
  • You'll have in-depth knowledge of the current competitive market place.
  • You will work well with change, being able to quickly adapt and work with pace.
