    • Have extensive experience in the beauty editorial world and be able to provide gut checks on the Costa Brazil line, support marketing efforts with clear recommendations, language, and the ability to quickly top edit all consumer-facing copy using AP Style.
    • As a seasoned editor, this individual will feel equally comfortable assigning and editing a 2,000-word feature on how biotech has impacted skin health; an educational infographic about beauty industry supply chains; and a lighthearted interview with a top Internet personality.
    • Manage editorial production and oversee all content planning, including talent booking, the site's content-based growth efforts (SEO), ensuring all content - from a social media gallery to a reported out explainer - align with the integrity and style COSTA BRAZIL is known for.
    • Develop intimate understanding of the consumer and category trends through competitive analysis, consumer research and ongoing monitoring of activity at retail.
    • Curate up-and-coming talent (celebrities, artists, creatives, dermatologists, makeup artists, chemists, artists, designers, etc.) for paid and organic programming.
    • Infuse your content decisions with your affinity for beauty, art, culture, design, celebrity, music, travel, fashion, luxury, and wellness.
    • Identify trends, threats, and opportunities in content marketing surrounding our industry.
    • Report to the VP, Marketing + Content and maintain close collaboration with cross-functional teams and the Creative Studio.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, literature, media, fine art or related.
    • 8-10 years of related work in beauty editorial, social media, advertising or related; experience in creating content for all platforms.

    • A top editing pro with extensive experience in in-house style as well as AP Style.
    • Passion for skincare / wellness beauty industry; professional understanding of clean beauty, biotech, and conservation efforts.
    • Embraces start-up dynamics and thrives wearing many hats while meeting objectives and working collaboratively.
    • Creative self-starter; ability to navigate a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with style, humor and agility.
