Zalando Shipping Solutions (ZSS) is one of the products most recently added to the portfolio of the newly founded department Connected Network, pursuing the vision to empower our brand partners to accelerate their eCommerce business in the most customer-convenient manner by providing them best-in-class shipping and delivery products & services.

As a Product Manager in ZSS, you and the product team will build and own a partner-facing product called ZSS Connect. It consists of a set of web applications, services and backend APIs to help our mid-and-small size partners to self-service and get started with ZSS business, integrate their systems, manage their operations and steer their growth. In partnership with multiple tech and business teams across the company, you will materialize the Connected Network strategy by creating new scalable, simple, compelling and user-centric solutions.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
  • Drive and facilitate the product strategy of Zalando's inhouse-shipping solution, building out a new platform service on Europe's leading online fashion platform that connects any fashion brand with customers anytime anywhere.
  • Collaborate with your peers in product and engineering and an extended network of internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivering high quality and high impact products throughout the whole Product Development process.
  • Identify, evaluate, conceptualize new opportunities, manage them across the Product Roadmap and steer them through the Product Development process.
  • Define KPIs for your products in your sphere, monitor and steer success over time; innovate to develop and keep the products at cutting-edge-level
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • A data-driven and collaborative Product Management professional with 5+ years experience of developing B2C (consumer-facing) or B2B (partner-facing) products across multiple platforms
  • Experience in converting strategy and Product Roadmaps into high-quality products, covering the full Product Development lifecycle, with strengths in agile product management and a passion for solving problems
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business and technology; you measure the success of your product and continuously iterate to improve it for the benefit of our partners; your combination of technical acumen and strong business sense allows you to convert such insights into technical requirements with ease
  • Excellent ability to clearly communicate the product vision and technical matters to a broad audience, including senior management, tech teams, and colleagues from within and outside the department to succeed independent of organizational boundaries
