YOUR OPPORTUNITY
As an IT Analyst for Zegna, based in the NY Showroom and reporting into the Manager of IT, this position plays a vital role within the IT team in supporting the daily operations of various applicants. The Analyst will assist with addressing issues to ensure a smooth operation, work with staff, and vendors to troubleshoot issues and assist in performing upgrades and implementations. This role calls for both technical capability and business understanding to support users in a vibrant and demanding environment
The core responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Engage in regular network troubleshooting activities and resolve network connectivity issues
  • Analyze current network structure and show initiative on how to make the network more efficient
  • Develop methods and tools to be used to test and implement new LAN/WAN equipment
  • Secure network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation
  • Assist with prioritization within product roadmaps through setting goals and tracking progress, someone who seeks out the new technology and explores new ideas with a strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Manage the IT project portfolio and leverage resources to ensure proper deployment in line with standard methodology
  • Ensure all of employees have the right equipment, access, and training to effectively do their work with regard to computers and associated technology
  • Meet deadlines and manage work to timelines deploys, maintains, and troubleshoot core business systems. Provide documentation of all process and training as needed.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change
  • Able to best practices
  • Provide regular and qualitative reporting

WHO YOU ARE:
  • Autonomous, self- starter with curiosity to learn & grow

  • Minimum 3-4 years of strong working experience
  • Experience with IT support to internal clients and run of operations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills while having the ability to explain technical concepts into plain simple words
  • Meet deadlines and manage work to timelines deploys, maintains, and troubleshoot core business system
  • Good communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Technical knowledge on Network and Telecom architectures
  • Knowledge of Security related architectures/domains
  • Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating
  • Inspires coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence

Skills:
  • 2+ Years Systems and/or Network Support and Administration
  • 2+ Years Desktop Level 1-3 Support
  • 2+ years of supporting MacOS and all Apple related devices
  • Microsoft Solutions such as Windows Operating System, Active Directory, Domains
  • Must know Window OS and a Microsoft Office 364 Suite
  • Networking equipment and protocols - switches and firewalls, VLANS, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, VPN
