Job Overview:
The Manager of Reporting and Systems Development is responsible for identifying and developing the systems and reporting needs for the Bloomingdale's organization. They will lead a team of professionals responsible for the full development lifecycle from requirement gathering to developing end-to-end process flows, dashboards and reports. In addition, the manager will oversee systemic and technical components of major corporate initiatives.

In addition, the manager will oversee systemic and technical components of major corporate initiatives.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and support new business processes and initiatives. Recommend and implement technical solutions and/or intelligence reporting. Gather Information for project-related research, prioritize, plan, and track project progress.
- Act as Bloomingdale's technical lead for corporate systems relating to merchandising, planning and allocation
- Support and improve existing processes Analyze performance by developing key performance indicators.
- Investigate and respond to user issues and call-outs
- Team Management: train, develop, coach and empower team for independent decision making
Qualifications and Competencies:
Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university
- Must have strong proficiency in: Excel, SQL and one or more Modern programming frameworks (Python, VB.Net)
- Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner
- Strong analytical skills and business math competency. Must have extensive experience in data analysis
- Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work across function and at many levels
- Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically
Physical Requirements:
- Requires prolonged periods of sitting, with occasional standing
- Occasionally requires walking, bending, reaching, hearing and talking
- Continuous use of computers and other office equipment
- Frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs.
