Job Details
Zalando Lounge SCM needs an experienced import specialist for the processing of goods deliveries from third countries. Candidates should already be familiar with topics such as ATRs and Incoterms, and be interested in process improvements. Our ideal employee should be quality-oriented, communicative and a team player.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Independently handle import processing in cooperation with our logistics service providers and check all customs and foreign trade documents.
- Communicate with a variety of different stakeholders such as the responsible customs offices, suppliers, buyers and forwarding agents in German and English.
- Learn how to independently classify textiles, footwear, accessories and home into customs tariffs
- Process customs refunds and post-clearances
- A completed vocational training in the areas of forwarding and logistics services or wholesale and foreign trade is a prerequisite; professional experience in a comparable, customs-relevant position is a plus
- Practical experience in the field of importing air freight/sea freight/road transport
- Experience with customs clearance systems
- Initial experience in tariff classification of articles and application of the customs tariff is desirable (TARIC, EZT)
- Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel; knowledge in the use of Google Workspace is an advantage
- High degree of self-organisation as well as a solution-oriented, precise and conscientious way of working
