OVERVIEW:


The Head of Brand Partnerships is an integral position within Gymshark North America's go-to-market function. The prime focus of the role is to lead Gymshark's Sponsorship, Influencer Marketing and PR programs to grow and develop the Gymshark brand in NA - always seeking to excite the consumer and connect with them in new ways as their wants, needs and touch points evolve. The success of this role will rely on a fierce cultural understanding of social natives across an array of geographies to continually market to the addressable audience in the most relevant and innovative ways. This individual should also have a sharp understanding of team management, commercial activity, and P&L accountability. It is essential to have a 360 understanding of the brand and marketing teams plus anything which falls into the Gymshark marketing funnel.

Given Gymshark's notoriety for all things influencer marketing, the Head of Brand Partnerships must not only maintain that reputation as best-in-class but also continually seek to evolve the programs to maintain our competitive advantage. Collaboration with all GTM functions is essential and this role should always seek to respectfully challenge other stakeholders and be a champion for the entire team. As an integral piece of the Brand strategy, the Head of Brand Partnerships should have a very collaborative relationship with their team and a truly comprehensive understanding of what is and isn't Gymshark - while always asking "What's next?"

Please note while we are currently offering a hybrid work model, all candidates must be either Denver based, or willing to relocate to Denver, CO. 100% Remote work is not available for this role. You must also be legally able to work in the United States. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Lead North America Influencer Marketing, Sponsorship and PR strategies
  • Identify, lead, manage and drive results for 3rd party brand partnerships to grow the brand and business
  • Drive incremental growth across revenue, audience, and marketplace footprint
  • Partner with insights team, have strong industry knowledge and understand the consumer to identify growth opportunities for the brand
  • Report on growth, profitability, and overall performance of the programs to necessary stakeholders
  • Cultivate a culture across the sponsored ‘Gymshark family' that everyone wants to be a part of, and nobody wants to leave
  • Accountability for a large section of the North American Brand budget
  • Ensure fiscal, social, and cultural targets are being met across regions, quarter-by-quarter, year on year.
  • Ensure brand campaign and NPD launches are consistently supported by the three departments within your remit
  • Full oversight and control of Gymshark athlete communications, ensuring regional and individual managers are playing to the strengths of the talent in question factoring in cultural nuances and relevant audience behaviors
  • Collaboration with creative team to ensure communications are cohesive with Gymshark's ‘owned' communications and talent involvement in campaign is secured and executed without issue
  • Strong ties with social teams to generate game-changing UGC and AGC
  • Review and secure agency relationships in regions where Gymshark is yet to regionalize
  • Help set the strategic direction of the Gymshark brand in collaboration with Brand and Product senior management
  • Responsibility for all Sponsorship, Influencer and PR teams in North America
  • Liaison with USA VP for direction and performance of regional teams
  • Experience using data-relevant tools including Alteryx, Tableau and Google Analytics
  • Ability to identify mar-tech tools such as Tubular Labs, Hype Auditor etc and where they fall short, develop our own solutions
  • The ability to dissect and interpret big data in creating informative, digestible stories.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Qualities:

  • 7-10 years' commercial experience, working within a transactional online environment essential
  • Lateral mindset, able to tackle problems the way most wouldn't
  • Proven track record creating a powerful and value-driven culture
  • Proven track record in driving lower funnel sales through innovative means.
  • Experience of working with remote teams desirable
  • Able to plan strategically and react tactically based on real-time data, business performance and opportunities to capitalize upon
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Extensive experience in influencer marketing

This role has a salary range between $123,000-$150,000 annually depending on experience.
