JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a Department Manager to join our iconic Regent Street global Flagship Store.

Through your passion for the brand and product you will be will be responsible for the efficient running of your department and will support the senior store management team in the running of the store.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead a high performing customer facing and service orientated department, setting performance targets while motivating and challenging the team to drive productivity and profitability
  • Devise and implement action plans to maximize product performance within your department
  • Drive the Client Engagement strategy for your department through promoting a client-centric mindset
  • Drive our Purpose 'Creativity Opens Spaces', adapting to the ever-changing retail environment
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and retain talented employees, by recognising and rewarding performance
  • Lead by example by delivering the Burberry Experience to customers when necessary


PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Proven strong performance within a store/department management role in a high volume and high turnover store.
  • Previous experience in men's or womenswear ready-to-wear
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess trends in order adapt your business in terms of training, product, team management
  • A passion for and interest in fashion, and a luxury ethos
  • A digital awareness and interest, with an ability to comfortably navigate social media and e-commerce sites
  • In-depth understanding of clients' expectations and what a luxury service entails
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to achieve results through providing constructive, feedback and coaching
