LOCATION: SMCP NORTH AMERICA CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS - 44 WALL STREET, NEW YORK, NY

SMCP - Sandro, Maje, Claudie Pierlot and Fursac is seeking a Learning + Development Coordinator as part of the North America HR Team. This position is responsible for the planning and execution of all learning & development initiatives for the headquarters through the organization, production and reporting of training events and activities. This position is additionally responsible for supporting soft skills and compliance training for the field. This role reports directly in to the Vice-President of Human Resources for North America.

What You'll Do:

BUDGET & PLANNING
  • Manage training budget for all assigned training initiatives
  • Source new training vendors and perform research

OPTIMIZE DIGITAL LEARNING
  • Manage digital learning licenses and contracts for NA-specific modules
  • Conduct research and evaluate vendors for digital learning needs, as required
  • Partner with Digital Learning Team and Director, Retail Operations & Training to support implementation and maintenance of NA digital learning site
  • Build and execute communication plan to ensure HQ employees' awareness of digital training content
  • In partnership with the HR Controller, track and follow up on mandatory training modules

SUPPORT CORPORATE EMPLOYEE ONBOARDING EXPERIENCE
  • Manage and distribute New Hire Welcome Kits
  • Maintain and update corporate guide as necessary
  • Draft and send new employee announcements for Headquarters
  • Introduce and manage onboarding "buddy" program for new hires

LEAD SEASONAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
  • Maintain calendar of seasonal workshops and activities
  • Schedule and plan workshops, and facilitate as appropriate
  • In partnership with Retail Team, lead the seasonal NYC Store Tour for Interns

PLAN & EXECUTE TRAINING EVENTS
  • Create and maintain Training Calendar in partnership with HR leadership
  • Collaborate in the planning and execution of training events, Town Halls, and conferences
  • Manage preparation of trainings and other events, including confirming attendance, preparing and distributing materials, and ensuring facility and audio/visual set-up, as required

Who You Are:

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree, and/or 1-3 years' experience in Human Resources, Learning + Development, or Corporate Communications.
  • Experience in Corporate Retail highly desirable.

Special Skills:
  • Foreign Languages (especially French) is a plus.

  • Must have strong project management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
