Position Overview
This position will liaise with various functional and business teams in the IT department and advise up to date and future direction of technologies and their business relevance. Lead a team in providing BI solutions in fulfilling regional and global initiatives. Ensure that all initiatives have detailed project proposals, justifications and supporting expenditure requests, and plans prepared in accordance with Project Methodology.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Transform business data into quantitative manners that can drive actionable insight, create accurate prediction and drive effective business optimization
* Analyze complex business data to identify trends, patterns, support decision making and uncover new business opportunities
* Improve and develop business data metrics and analytics capabilities
* Build predictive model and algorithm to measure ad optimize business performance
* Apply best in class data science tools and technique
* Drive end to end BI strategy including data warehouse, modelling, reporting, data mining, and visualization
* Lead a team to work closely with functional partners on system implementation and support
* Provide day to day BI, reporting, and application support to the business community as received via the Helpdesk and formal business engagement meetings Not limited to:
* Support (Manage BI support process; Co-ordination of BI system problems and issue resolution; Investigate and analyze system issues; Identify system/business area to resolve issue, Support of business processes)
* BI Solutions Development and Change Management
* Working with various counterparts and users to identify system usage and solutions to support business requirements
* Identifying changes to existing processes and impact on existing roles, responsibilities and functional structures;
* Production of Business Requirements documents, Business Specifications, Change Controls, Impact Analysis and Project Initiation; Liaison between business users, 3PL IT team and support analysts across business areas to co-ordinate inter-dependent activities
* Co-ordination of Integration Testing, UAT and End to End Tests including production of Test Plans and working with users & IT to identify test criteria, test conditions and test data
* Project Management (Identify and co-ordinate resources in order to achieve successful implementations of all new projects, on time and on budget)

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Multiple years' experience of business analysis & systems support with some degree of IT management experience in Fashion / Apparel industries
* With experience in Full Project life-cycle management, Process Design and Improvement
* Experience in multi-country Business Intelligence and Retail Application rollouts and support
* Experience in leading a team in working with various counterparts in different locations and time zones
* Relevant Project Management methodology, Business Intelligence tool qualification
* Experiences/knowledge in Business Intelligence such as SQL, stored procedures, database/data processing concepts, reports and dashboards development, excel macros, and business intelligence tools
* Process Improvement/Re-engineering experience
* Membership of relevant professional institution #LI-SD1
