About the Role

As the Senior Manager of Partnerships, you will play an integral role in the development, evolution, and implementation of Athleta's Partnership strategy, including athletes, like minded brands and VIPs. Your efforts will advance Athleta's mission, priorities, and growth strategies, increasing brand awareness, credibility and emotional connections among our customers through groundbreaking relationships.

What You'll Do

As the Senior Manager of Partnerships, you will play an integral role in the development, evolution, and implementation of Athleta's Partnership strategy, including athletes, like minded brands and VIPs. Your efforts will advance Athleta's mission, priorities, and growth strategies, increasing brand awareness, credibility and emotional connections among our customers through groundbreaking relationships.

What You'll Do:

• Execute partnerships across athletes, cultural icons and strategic partners
• Cultivate relationships across industries that could foster future relationships
• Keep a keen eye on sports and culture to identify and develop partnership prospects
• Serve as main connection to, and day-to-day manager of, these relationships, adeptly handling celebrities and elite athletes, nurturing and growing these relationships over time
• Join a growing team which serves as hub of a cross-functional wheel executing all facets of key partnerships, including product, marketing, PR, content, online and in store experiences
• Think innovatively around tactics that leverage partnerships to increase Athleta awareness, engagement and brand love
• Leverage data, insights, and measurement tools to evaluate potential partnerships and evaluate the success of individual partnerships

Who You Are:

• Focused on relationships
• 8+ years of partnerships. Desired experience includes:
  • Experience serving as key point of contact on strategic relationships
  • Managed partnerships from contract to execution
  • Working within a matrixed and collaborative organizational culture
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results through coaching, innovation and accountability
• Quick learner and resourceful; able to prioritize effectively
• Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the Fashion/Sports/Fitness industries
• Strong verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
• Outstanding collaboration and project management skills, including demonstrated track record in managing complex projects across functional lines
• High level of ownership, accountability, initiative and drive
• Proactive, with a very strong attention to detail, and a creative approach to problem-solving
• Experience in budget planning and management
• Ability to travel
