The Commercial Planning function at Farfetch is a growing team of commercial and technical experts working to manage the Farfetch marketplace supply and merchandise proposition - working with boutique and brand partners to source the best supply, provide the best range of products that our customers are looking for, and improve Farfetch's profitability. The Junior Planning Analyst will report directly to the Senior Planning Analyst, and will help develop projects to drive commercial benefits at production, and implement them on a day-to-day basis. This will help us decrease time to market, achieve our commercial goals and offer a compelling assortment on Farfetch. You will work with colleagues from across the business, including Creative Operations and Brand & Boutique Management, to build repeatable, scalable processes and drive continual improvement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • You will develop planning techniques to identify the best items to produce at a given time
    • You will help improve the methodology and processes to prioritise the production of items according to their potential, managing partner's expectations and taking into consideration operational constraints
    • You will establish essential metrics and reports that allow us to improve alignment between Commercial goals/priorities and operational constraints at Production
    • You will be the bridge between Commercial partner-facing teams and production, including working with:
    • E-Concessions, Business Development and Account Management teams to source and prioritise the highest potential supply from our partners and improve their experience on Farfetch
    • Creative Operations teams to improve processes and promote alignment with Commercial goals and timings


WHO YOU ARE

    • Internship experience in e-Commerce or Consulting
    • Bachelor's degree in a numerical field
    • Use data to bring operationally and commercially relevant insights
    • Experience working with a range of stakeholders
    • You have technical skills for processing and analysing large amounts of data:
    • Required: Excel (can perform complex functions) and SQL
    • Preferred: Python
    • Understanding and passion for e-commerce and the fashion/luxury industry is a very big plus!
