As a Partner Innovation Manager, your work will be crucial for the identification, prioritization and shaping of new opportunity fields that increase partner satisfaction according to market standards and expectations. The exploration of opportunity fields based on an outside-in view - disruptive ideas and incremental improvements - will allow teams to scale efficiently while Connected Retail scales. By providing teams with commercial and partner insights, you contribute to the progress and success of key projects on automating service provision for long-tail partners and enhancing the service level for strategic partners.
  • Market Scouting: Scan the Retail and SaaS market for trends, as well as Partner Consultant documentation for opportunities to optimize the way we serve our current partner base - across different segments and target groups.
  • Research: Understand partner feedback, deep dive into partner performance, coordinate and conduct different kinds of design research (e.g. interview, shadowing) in collaboration with Product teams to explore opportunity fields in a merchant-vendor context.
  • Framing: Shape and conceptualise opportunities in their earliest stage by defining hypotheses, gathering insights from internal stakeholders and allocating key points that teams need to decide on to kick off or abandon the project.
  • Solution Design: Prepare tailored concepts in collaboration with Partner Consulting and Product in order to devise strategies for how we can continuously improve the service we offer to our partners in an efficient and scalable way.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in a partner service, product innovation, product strategy or other service optimisation position.
  • Curiosity: you love to explore and understand new things! When browsing the market, you always find the right balance - between digging into details of the underlying value proposition and keeping an eye on what is needed to advance in your research. The idea of stepping in our partners' shoes excites you!
  • Analytical skills: you base your market and design research on hypotheses to ensure valuable outcomes. After a successful exploration, you are looking forward to analyse and synthesize the gathered (quantitative and qualitative) insights - and share them with major stakeholders.
  • Solution orientation: you know how to break down complex challenges in order to focus and achieve a goal. When coming up with quick solutions, you always think one step ahead by considering the commercial impact and ways to operationalize actions.
  • Strategic thinking: you understand what your role brings to the Connected Retail business (both from a business model and commercial perspective); you are able to structure your work in a way that supports the continuous improvement and innovation of how we serve partners.
