Vestiaire Collective is looking for a Market Business Analyst Intern to join the Southern European team for 6 months starting in February, in our Paris office.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

You will be part of the Southern European team who is responsible for the commercial and marketing activities of the markets (Italy and Spain), taking care also of the full ownership of the P&L of both regions. As Market Business Analyst Intern, you will ensure that we plan, steer, and manage the business performance of your markets in the healthiest and most sustainable way. Using data analytics, you will support strategic decision making for business growth in your markets of responsibility, working hand in hand with the southern European team. You are entrepreneurial, a self-starter, comfortable both working independently as well as collaborating across teams. You are keen to dive head first into a fast-growing, global fashion tech business!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You will support on the sales planning and forecasting taking into account local commercial activities and different investment areas (e.g. Pricing, Marketing, value proposition, ...) for your respective markets.
  • You will work closely with the Head Business steering, the Market VP and various commercial functions such as Marketing, Supply, CRM and Finance. You will be supporting them with your analytical skills on commercial and strategic topics
  • You will support local strategic projects with the analysis needed for the project
  • You will monitor the business performance in your markets (with buyer and seller GMV targets as your key KPI), point out and explain deviations. Your analysis and recommendations will be shared with the senior leadership team.
  • You will drive competitive intelligence monitoring and will execute cross functional analysis to support trade-off decisions and projects on overarching topics with a direct impact on several parts of the local P&L


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Master's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or other analytical disciplines or equivalent experience.
  • You have gained a work experience in consumer-oriented commercial, financial, or highly analytical roles.
  • You are a strategic commercial thinker with impressive analytical skills, attention to details and critical mindset. You have strong technical skills in Excel. Knowledge in SQL and skills in Tableau are strong plus.
  • You have great communication skills; You Thrive in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
  • You have a good understanding of the main P&L lines in an ecommerce - retailing environment
  • You are business-fluent in English. Italian is a plus.
