Inventory Analyst

Hush are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-orientated Stock Controller to join our growing team to manage all things stock and support the daily running of the operations department. Ideally you will be in a similar role and have experience working with a 3PL. You will need to demonstrate high levels of accuracy, attention to detail and be able to prioritise workload.

The main responsibilities include:

• Supporting accurate and detailed records of our internal stock / ERP system management ensuring matching 3PL WMS

• General inventory support: including but not limited to stock rotation, write-offs and location management

• Investigate any inbound shortages with warehouse, suppliers and forwarders

• Stock checks and regular reporting including periodic supplier audits

• Management of external warehousing shipments & costs.

• Consumables/Packaging stock level management

• Organising QC checks in conjunction with technical team

• Monitor 3PL warehouse rolling stock counts, looking into all discrepancies with 3PL counterpart

• Improve product availability, ensuring buffer levels are set correctly

• Support consolidation and stock allocations

• Arrange relabelling requests from merchandising team

• Analyse weekly warehouse KPIs to ensure high standards are maintained

• Liaise with colleagues to answer queries on incoming/outgoing stock and proactively communicate any delays and potential solutions

• Evolve operations business systems and processes to enable the business to scale, ensuring 3PL and internal SOPs are up to date 

You will have/be:

• Proven relevant experience ideally managing a 3PL

• Experience working in a stock management, purchasing or operations

• An eye for detail

• Analytical thinker and problem solver

• Great communicator and ability to report and present to management

• Environment and using ERP systems, e.g. Business Central or similar

• Confident in managing and manipulating data sets

• Strong excels skills are a must (including knowledge of functions such as vlookup, pivot tables, conditional formats and if statements)
