ASSOCIATE DESIGNER, DANIELLE FRANKEL

The Associate Designer is responsible for assisting the Creative Director with development and bringing forth quality design work within the aesthetic of the label. Working with the in-house atelier as well as outside resources to oversee the creative process for collection development and custom made garments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

- BFA Fashion Design Degree or comparable college degree 

- 1-3 years relevant work experience

- Knowledge in draping, patternmaking, sketching and technical flats as well as Photoshop and Illustrator

- Craft oriented designer with the ability to generate new swatches and ideas to bring forth to the Creative Director and execute concepts into final products

- Creative problem solving abilities 

- Communication with production team to mass produce styles 

- Can work well in a high pressure environment with hard deadlines

- Can present themselves professionally in front of clients and industry colleagues 

- Meet deadlines in a timely manner without compromising the quality of work

- Reports directly to Creative Director and VP of Development and Production
