We are searching for a Junior Application Support Analyst to support the Business Applications Support Analyst in managing and maintaining the NAV ERP system.

This position is required to review the HelpDesk system for all ERP related tickets, filter and direct all incident support requests and escalate where required. This position will act as the first line of support which includes setting up new users, applying and updating permissions and maintaining support documentation. 

Key Responsibilities of the role:

Includes but is not limited to:

  • Provide application support for all NAV modules on a day-to-day basis.
  • Undertake active monitoring of platforms and the ticketing system.
  • Update tickets to ensure that users are informed of progress.
  • Manage user issues, conduct 1st and 2nd line support / investigation.
  • Day to day user management which includes creating new accounts and updating permission groups
  • Update documentation / knowledge base.
  • Assist with training and onboarding for new users.
  • Support the Business Applications Support Analyst with projects.

Key skills, experience and knowledge required:

  • Experience from within a similar position within a retail organisation.       
  • Understanding / interest in ERP systems.
  • Demonstrable experience of using ERP system Microsoft Navision preferred.
  • Experience of working within a Helpdesk / Desktop Support / Application Support role.
  • Advanced user of MS Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Retail POS experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with business partners and users.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively produce detailed instructions and training documentation.
  • Enthusiastic and keen to learn new software and technology.
