This role is responsible for the effective assistance of the industrialisation process and planning of timing and method from sampling through to production to ensure shoe collections are delivered on time.


  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with product development and vendors to ensure all information is passed clearly, timelines are defined and shared and processing times are tracked
  • Develop a working knowledge of vendor capability and availability
  • Managing production overview documentation and providing product information as required
  • Organising, filing and archiving samples
  • Organise and take part in production meetings with the product development team to ensure a smooth hand off of all products
  • Supply information to vendors and ensure the right conditions are in place to make test models quickly
  • Supporting fitting tests with models, tracking and monitoring all approvals and modifications
  • Prepare and analyse weekly reports to identify any factory delays, ensuring issues are resolved and risks which could impact collection delivery are mitigated
  • Work closely with the quality and testing team to ensure testing is completed within the required timelines and to the relevant standards
  • Accountable for ensuring PLM is kept updated with 100% accuracy.

  • Ability to work in partnership with cross functional partners, understanding the creative aesthetic and design vision and protecting this through the production process
  • Technical capability and product knowledge to understand the topic: footwear industrialisation
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, delivering clear briefs and leveraging relationships to meet demands
  • Demonstrated experience working on site with vendors and operational knowledge of factories, delivering clear briefs and leveraging relationships and availability to meet demands
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate fitting samples delivery with credibility, share information effectively, and work confidently with cross functional teams
  • Knowledge of fashion and products in relevant category -'fashion sensibility' - knowledge of trends, the market, the luxury consumer and peer awareness
  • Computer skills: PLM, excel, indesign
