Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, you will be a key member of the IR team with a wide range of responsibilities in support of the IR programme and the wider team. You will also support the Chief Operating and Financial Officer as part of a team working in close conjunction with the Executive Assistant to the COO/CFO


• Co-ordinate, organise, plan and execute Investor roadshows, conferences and ad-hoc meetings for the CEO, COO/CFO and IR team
• Organise events such as financial results presentations, Trading Updates, Investor store-tours and various unscheduled announcements
• Assist in ensuring appropriate management of and IR access to target Investors, current investors and smaller Investors
• Assist in editing Investor communication materials, including PowerPoint presentations and Microsoft Word documents
• Ownership of the CRM system
• Prepare meeting records and compile the senior management briefing notes for Investor meetings
• Maintain and manage contacts database
• Provide general support to the IR team, including travel booking and itinerary creation, invoice processing, organising the meeting schedule and managing the IR inbox
• Upload results on the LSE RNS service
• Update the data in the investor factsheets published each quarter and the responsibility factsheet also published on the Burberry website
• Listen in to Investor calls and take notes on the Q&A
• Develop and maintain relationships with senior business stakeholders across various areas in the business
• Provide support for the Office of the COO/CFO as and when required, working closely with the EA to the COO/CFO


• Highly computer literate, particularly in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience in Concur preferred
• Experience with using Ariba/SAP preferred
• Experience in using technology for meetings (VC, teleconference, skype, Webex etc.)
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task
• Professionalism and a high degree of confidentiality and integrity
• Ability to be very flexible and to re-prioritise near-term assignments
• Proactiveness and willingness to use initiative and take ownership of projects
• Strong communication skills including excellent written and spoken English, interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm in a high pressure environment and prioritise
• Understanding and adherence to the Exec Admin processes and ways of working - filing, file naming conventions, cover and handover procedures
• Desire to develop and learn new skills
• Ability to build a strong network of contacts externally with broker corporate access teams and Investors
