POSITION OBJECTIVE:

This position on the Data-Driven Insights team will be a leadresource in the development of in-depth analyses and valuable reporting. Thisrole works with partners to generate insights employing multiple techniques:customer analytics (e.g., mine customer databases to understand customeraudiences, uncover hidden patterns and inform targeting), digital analytics,cross-channel analytics (phone, web, store), and experimentation. In addition,as a Leader of the Analytics Center of Excellent you will be part of the broaderBig Data team responsible for maintaining / developing best-in-class analyticaland research expertise, developing standards, and scaling self-serve dataanalytics, testing and experimentation approaches.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Builds and leads an Analytics Center of Excellence team of analysts or senior analysts.
  • Brings together disparate data sources by building data models that can be used by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Drives education and adoption of data products across teams.
  • Educates non-technical team members on our data products and how best to use data to inform their decision-making process.
  • Drives key analysis in equity compensation from initial scoping through final delivery and publication/review of the results.

·Works directly with brand leadership to understand the market environment and trends, identifying key business issues, and integrating insights into business plans.

·Develops new solutions that provide key insights to drive commercial strategies and create a competitive advantage by making better business decisions derived through strategic data analysis.

·Assesses promotional response to omni-channelefforts and determine ROI on programs with the goal of optimizing commercialefforts.

·Works closely with Sales Analytics and Market Research leads in the triangulation of data to ensure an integrated viewpoint to commercial and corporate management.

·Develops and manages key cross-functional relationships.

·Partners with Commercial Planning and Communication Lead to ensure commercial analytics field communications are well thought out, coordinated, and deliveredeffectively.

·Evaluates complex, cross-functional business situations, supported by data analytics, to derive actionable insights to drive top and bottom-line growth.

·Provide financial analysis and support to drive improvements in internal processes that will result in increased customer satisfaction and reduced operating cost for the company (e.g., integrating processes for merchandise and customer analyses)

·Perform marketing effectiveness analytics, including understanding appropriate mix of marketing spend, effectiveness of new programs, and appropriate options on coupons and discounts.

·Lead implementation of Test and Learn processes across the company. Leverageadvanced tools to ensure robust measurement and learning from tests.

·Produce or assist in feasibility studies/business plans for new businesses. Act as a strategic thought partner with brand teams to evaluate opportunities.

·Proactively identify best practices through benchmarking and other forms of learning information from industry leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·Bachelor's degree required

·Master's degree in stats, math or equivalent

·APT/SASExperience preferred

·Businessdevelopment experience, preferably in a large corporation

·Minimum of 7-10years experience with increasing responsibility in retail, marketing or relatedfield

·Strongnegotiating skills
  • Very strong analytical, technical, problem solving and communication skills with the ability to engage internal customers with little-to-no support.

·Excellentcommunication skills, written and oral

·High degree of experience inTableau, SQL, Cloud Services

·Strong capabilities with MS Excel and PowerPoint
