Kenmark Eyewear is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated independent sales representative for our limited edition and high-end capsule collections + newly launched Paradigm eyewear brand. This person would be primarily focusing on and well connected to independent boutique shops (outside of eyewear industry), department stores and online retailers as we look to grow this part of our business. This is a remote position, but location in Los Angeles a plus.

This sales representative is responsible for establishing new online retail, department store and independent boutique accounts (both eyewear/accessory and fashion related) and developing strong long-term relationships with both new and existing accounts to increase our sales revenue as well as our awareness among these avenues. This role requires excellent organizational, planning and communication skills in addition to being performance driven to accomplish goals, but continually striving to find new ways to improve and expand our reach. Main requirements include: 2-4 years sales experience in an accessories or fashion based industry with a proven track record and strong relationships with both online and independent retail accounts, ability to meet sales goals, attend home office quarterly meetings, ability to travel frequently, able to do extensive cold calling and in person visits of accounts to establish long term relationships, attend trade shows as needed, as well as have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to strategize and work well with other teams.

• You have 2-4 years past sales or related experience with fashion or accessories

• Has excellent relationships with fashion and accessories boutiques worldwide

• Attends trade shows when necessary

• Responsible for B to C accounts - boutique stores, department stores, and ecomm websites

• Work closely with the VP of Marketing and team to communicate needs and discuss goals and time lines for product launches and ongoing sales

• You have a strong network and ability to generate qualified leads

• Identify potential customers through networking and following leads

• Arrange meetings with potential and existing customers to present brands

• Excellent with persuading customers to purchase by highlighting product benefits, campaigns and key features

• Building and maintaining solid working relationships with both new and existing customers

• Promptly submitting purchase orders to the relevant department for processing

• Following up with customers to inquire into whether purchased products meet their expectations.

• Filling out the necessary paperwork and obtaining customers’ signatures to complete each sale

• Work with team to create strategies and plans for sales per brand

• You take initiative
