LAGENCE, an upscale contemporary fashion brand, is looking for an experienced Store Sales Supervisor. LAGENCE is distributed globally in retailers such as Sak’s 5th Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Intermix, Shopbop, Revolve, Harrod’s, Net-A-Porter, as well as lagence.com and our own retail stores on Melrose Place and Madison Avenue.

Responsibilities:
- Be a brand ambassador
- Introduce the collection to clients
The Sales Supervisor will be an additional leader for all staff members. The ideal applicant will have proven success in time management, leadership qualities, problem solving skills and clienteling. They will also be responsible for maintaining merchandise and store appearance, as well as meeting and exceeding established individual as well as overall store sales goals. Must possess a passion for retail and dedication for advancement within the store team.
Requirements:
TEAM AND BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
Displays business acumen by explaining key performance indicators (KPIs) to associates set forth by the Store Manager and contributing to the overall store sales goals.
Drives results by prioritizing selling while keeping associates focused
Ensuring exceptional customer service at all times by being an effective leader on the sales floor.
Focuses on the customer experience, develops customer loyalty, and cultivates repeat business.
Displays effective selling techniques and client development by leading by example.
Coach the sales team on performance and provide professional development
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND VISUAL MERCHANDISING
Communicate with Store Manager to ensure inventory meets the needs of the business.
Ensure accurate and efficient receipt and transfers of all goods.
Assist with Quarterly Inventory prep and execution
Assist with merchandising the store and execute window displays to reflect latest collections
Maintain all display fixtures and lighting
STAFF TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
Ensure that sales team upholds L’AGENCE cultural values in all aspects of the business
Coaching Sales Associates on the spot to give clear constructive feedback based on facts and observations
Identify associate training and implement action plans
PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES
Must be a L’AGENCE brand ambassador, upholding dress code standards
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to reach overhead
Must be able to pick up 30-50lbs
Must be able to climb a ladder or stepstool
REQUIRED SKILLS
Minimum 3 years of Retail experience with at least 1 year management experience.
Effective communication skills and ability to provide feedback.
Must possess action-oriented skills and ability to lead by example on the sales floor.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and display effective time management skills.
Creates an environment of teamwork and collaboration.
Approachable and effective listener.
Displays problem solving abilities and willingness to think outside the box for solutions
