THE ROLE & THE TEAM
As a Manager Construction MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) (w/m/d) you play an important role for the extension of our logistics network within Europe. You will be part of the Construction logistics team and responsible for design, technical specifications, construction, interdisciplinary coordination and successful internal handover of our new Logistic Centers. Regardless where our internal customers need support with a hub in Europe, the construction logistics team delivers building solutions for different countries.

WHY YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED
- Tender and hire MEP planner and contractors, oversee design process, monitor the construction work and manage the entire planning and development process, primarily of our logistics MEP fit-out (especially ventilation, power & data cabling, fire-safety installations, sprinklers)
- Be innovative with your technical expertise and a great communicator
- Accompany the approval process at every stage of the construction project, work closely with the Indirect Procurement team and the legal team and steer your project accordingly to get the use permit on schedule
- Coordinate with the business unit for which the Corporate Real Estate Development Team is working and involve them in the process at any relevant points
- Build efficient relationships and networks with external and internal partners and service providers to ensure that all projects are completed on time
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as MEP engineer/ project manager or MEP planner in the construction industry or site manager, ideally in a logistics environment
- Experience in professional and disciplinary management and a successfully completed university degree in mechanical, electrical engineering or a comparable technical degree
- Knowledge of building and planning law, as well as understanding of MEP design and fit-out (especially sprinkler and electrical fit-out)
- Clear communication in German and English, assertiveness and the ability to coordinate all stakeholders of a project and to focus them on one goal
- Open to regular travel
