YOUR OPPORTUNITY
As a Public Relations Coordinator for Zegna, you will play a key role within the PR and Marketing teams by managing samples, partnering with press, editors and stylists, VIP dressing and support events and gifting initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Director of Public Relations, you will assist in the execution of public relations efforts for our brand in the US.

The role provides fundamental support in executing Brand public relations strategies. The core responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Sample Management
  • Manage all Zegna collections (inclusive of fashion show and commercial), focusing on high volume of editorial requests and sample trafficking for photoshoots
  • Handle daily editorial requests for North America, including but not limited to confirming looks/samples, send outs, returns, etc. and assisting with international shoots taking place in the US where needed
  • Monitor sample sign outs, coordinating with the Logistics department, while maintaining a well-organized sample closet
  • Execute store pulls for key outlets and stylists and maintain close relationship with retail teams
  • Manage and code MOVs for live retail product pulled from boutiques for gifting, dressing, etc.
  • Partner with PR Director on seasonal sample orders, inclusive of selecting key looks to align on retail priorities, filling in/ placing orders with HQ and maintaining close communication with production to anticipate sample deliveries
  • Track all new sample deliveries from Milan, inputting all pieces into Launchmetrics (Fashion GPS) and updating internal sample tracking documents
  • Supervise local and international shipments for both editorial & VIP pulls; partner with Logistics team to compile all necessary shipping documents; ensure inventory is returned and reconciled in retail systems

Press & Outlets
  • Partner with the Customer Service team to provide credit information to publications across all media forms (national and regional print, online, etc.); Maintain master credit tracker for confirmed credits
  • Assist with national and regional press, brainstorming creative pitch angles and coordinating with Merchandising/Retail team to ensure product is available in each market
  • Develop key brand news, collection and product pitches for national and regional outlets
  • Create, update and maintain press and stylist lists
  • Monitor print publications, websites & relevant social media accounts for press, Zegna mentions & industry news; Clip all VIP dressing coverage (including celebrity, influencer, etc.)
  • Clip, organize and compile print, online and social media coverage for Weekly Report
  • Clip, organize and compile print, online and social media coverage for dedicated recaps for special projects like fashion shows, capsule collections, collaborations, campaign launches, etc.
  • Compile Monthly Evaluation Report to submit to HQ and track results YOY
  • Report on competitor activity and initiatives, as well as relevant industry trends, key industry events, projects, collaborations and relevant VIPs of the moment
  • Maintain master editorial tracking document, including all press requests, pitching, anticipated editorial, secured editorial and missed opportunities

Events & Gifting
  • Execute Press Days, either virtual or in-person depending on the season
  • Support celebrity dressing initiatives and assist with brand and special events
  • Assist with fashion show preparation (including invitations, seating, private previews, re-sees, pitching, livestream support for approved outlets, disseminating press assets, capturing fashion show coverage, recaps, etc.)
  • On-site support at events
  • Prepare gifting/seeding initiatives and mailings for editors, stylists, VIPs and bloggers/influencers including helping formulate the lists, sourcing addresses and sizes, overseeing gift wrapping and logistics/deliveries; carry out yearly holiday gifting program to key partners and friends of the brand

Administrative
  • Create New Vendors as needed, process invoices via Appian and maintain marketing budget tracker (PR & media)
  • Perform general administrative duties including maintaining organized media library, archiving, scanning, packaging, gift wrapping, etc.
  • Assist with seasonal internship recruitment process and internship schedule

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Public Relations, Marketing or Communications) -
  • Minimum 1-year of PR experience, preferably in high-end fashion/luxury goods industry or relevant agency
  • Strong computer skills including ( Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook; Social Media Platforms; Adobe; Launchmetrics (Fashion GPS); Cision; Fashion Monitor/Celebrity Intelligence; media tracking services, such as DMR, Meltwater, Burrelles, etc.
