The Role

 

The purpose of the role is to support the Demand Planning Manager in creating and maintaining the regional demand plans and forecasts with consistency in order to create highly accurate forecasts that will encourage business decisions throughout the organisation and achieve the Financial Sales Plans.

 

Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, the role supports the seasonal buying cycle and communicates across the business in the EMEA requiring a high level of patience, professionalism and communication skills.

 

Your Impact

 

  • Assist in creating sales forecasts to ensure right product, right time based on demand patterns and business trends.
  • Work in partnership with local Sales teams to understand local variances, sales trends and promotions/deals which will impact future demand.
  • Ensure any extraordinary activity is reflected in the Demand Plan
  • Monitor sales vs forecast
  • Assist in challenging over/under sales patterns and suggest/implement forecast changes as required
  • Review re-order trends in season to identify short term sales opportunities where inventory exists within the European region
  • Assist Demand Planning Manager in preparing prior season review, to include category phasing by month, best sellers, size curves, sell in % etc.
  • Work with Demand Planning Manager to liaise with Sales team to identify lines with poor sell out %
  • Using prior season analysis, review average sales volume per product by category, identify sell outs & growth opportunities to establish an ideal proposed SKU count by gender & category for the next planning season.

  • Are you a passionate Demand Planner who possesses interpersonal skills and is able to shape peer relationships over distance, Is comfort around senior leadership and loves to work in an self-guided environment
  • Self-starter who brings passion, enthusiasm & focus to their work
  • Creative, imaginative, solutions orientated, and strives to deliver high quality standards
  • Good at forming relationships with key stakeholders

We would Love to Hear from People with:

 

  • Experience of working in inventory management/merchandising/forecasting/planning – either a retail or wholesale head office environment
  • An analytical mindset an individual who is comfortable processing and presenting data to stakeholders or clients
  • You will need to be able to use Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level.
