Social Media Manager

nss magazine is currently seeking a Social Media Manager. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can build a social audience and manage all key community aspects of nss magazine social and community presence.
The candidate must have a clear understanding and passion for social, with a desirable track record of managing online communities and/or working on earned media campaigns. Good knowledge of SEO basic rules will be considered a strong plus.

Scope of Assignment

-You will manage the nss magazine’s key community aspects: online conversation and social posting mostly on Facebook, but also on Instagram
- Working with the team to build our social calendar to grow our audience, organic reach, and engagement, drive site traffic and build online conversations, creating interactions and conversations when appropriate
- Working with the social media team to suggest social-specific content to help develop campaigns and stimulate conversations
- Working with the editorial team to identify content that will resonate on the social, and brief creative social assets to grow views
- Understanding and navigating legal requirements for all social media posts - working between comms teams and legal teams
- Work with analytics team to monitor online conversations and develop the right plan for responses
- Understanding of earned social media techniques

Qualifications

- Experience managing online communities and working on earned social media campaigns (the knowledge of Facebook Business Manager is mandatory)
- Proven ability to flag and manage issues
- Great English and Italian written style
- Be a team player 
- Experience working with the content team to oversee the community elements of the site (polls, surveys, etc)
- Knowledge of SEO rules

- Experience scheduling social content, and working with media agencies to provide assets and information needed for boosting or dark ads
- Absolutely must have an entrepreneurial spirit, relentless work ethic, inquisitive approach to everything, and an insatiable desire to be a part of a growing and creative digital and business department
