JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all samples are pulled, prepped, returned with QR tags and scanned into the closet for castings, fittings and shoots.
- Ensure all samples are tracked correctly in Tory Track and Airtable and processes are followed.
- Review seasonal samples with Merchandising team due to last minute changes and necessary adjustments to production and post production.
- Be a leader for seasonal product knowledge, operational excellence and able to communicate effectively to the studio team.
- Ensure samples are accurate against Merchandising and Buying line assortments and ready for producers to plan and execute content creation.
- Manage seasonal sample inventory and ensure the sample closet is organized at all times.
- Partner with the Merchandise Coordinator to monitor inventory delivery to ensure that any late or at-risk samples are ordered from other closets or warehouse proactively.
- Work with the retouching team If samples are needed for color correction purposes
- Pull, pack and unpack for Mainline and Sport; Campaign, Lookbook and Editorial shoots
- Ensure that processes are followed and assist with cross functional partners in handling and tracking to minimize the damaged and lost samples.
- Partner with Producers to ensure all samples are shot in a timely manner and reshoots are minimized due to incorrect or damaged samples.
- Prepare samples as needed for all shoots, reviews and meetings, including on location.
- Liaise sample sharing for all the sets - style outs, fittings, castings, ecommerce shoots and editorials, etc.
- Master existing technologies (Airtable for workflow and Tory Track for sample trafficking) to ensure that work is transparent to cross-functional partners.
- Manage time effectively and learn quickly; stay calm under pressure and excel in fast-paced project timeframes.
- Highly motivated team player with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally.
Specific Job Knowledge
- Previous production background, preferably in fashion or merchandising.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, listening and oral/written communication skills.
- Good creative problem-solving skills and abilities.
- Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, ability to multi-task, strong analytical skills.
- Top-notch organizational skills, ability to take direction and give orders as needed.
- Work independently and with teams, able to decipher problems and create solutions.
- Self-driven and able to complete tasks with minimal guidance if necessary.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Productivity-focused and proven to be a quick problem solver, with ability to overcome technical challenges as necessary.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel); comfortable with technology and tools.
