Totême is looking for a Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist to join the team in Stockholm. In this role you will manage paid search campaigns on Google and all other pay-per-click (PPC) marketing activities. Together with the Paid Social team, SEO partners and Marketing team, you will work to maximize ROI and drive traffic and customers. You will be in charge of the paid search budget and work closely with the team to grow and deliver best-in-class SEM marketing campaigns. 

The role 

  • Own and drive all paid search activities on Google with an “hour-by-hour trading” approach
  • Execute and deliver on predefined ROAS and budget targets 
  • Execute tests, collect and analyze data, and identify trends and insights in order to achieve and improve ROAS & ROI in paid search campaigns
  • Effectively manage campaign expenses by staying on budget, appropriately estimating monthly costs, and reconciling any discrepancies that appears
  • Track, report and analyze all relevant KPIs of current and past campaigns and analytics initiatives 
  • Continually expand and optimize paid keyword discovery
  • Research and analyze competitor advertising links
  • Continually work on the quality score of the ads to outbid resellers and competitors
  • Drive the innovation agenda for continued development and improvement on a smaller and larger scale
  • Suggest and implement SEO actions for improved performance 
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns

Your profile 

  • BSc/MS degree in Marketing or a quantitative, test-driven field
  • Proven SEM experience and success at managing PPC campaigns across Google and other search engines 
  • In-depth experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo and Search Ignite)
  • Experienced with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture and WebTrends)
  • Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion and online customer acquisition
  • Experience from generating SEM and SEO reports
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and multivariate experiments
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • On top of current trends and best practices within search engine marketing

This is a full time position based at Totême's Stockholm office with an immediate start.
